My Story
Having been an avid traveler that has been a passion passed down to me through my adventurer parents, I slowly fell in love with language, culture and people. As such, I have spent many years of my own education through online platforms that eventually transferred over to my teaching experience. I believe this gives me a unique insight into this process that we all currently find ourselves in across the globe, especially for our younger learners who are just now experiencing this.
My journey with language began as a result of learning French from a very young age, and though English is my mother tongue, I have always had a bilingual perspective. As such, I began to take interest in how language is formed, how we have a multitude of options that we can use it to communicate ideas, and the power words have on creating different outcomes.
I understood the importance of acquiring a TEFL as it afforded me the option to learn how to practically apply my teaching methods for my students learning English from a background of a very different mother tongue.
My second tertiary pursuit was in business management in hospitality which afforded me the opportunity to understand the general working environment and the requirements we often don't have the luxury to learn and understand, such as the importance of tone when on a telephone call, or why you might encounter certain questions in a job interview.
I was trained in violin to ABRSM grade 5 and music theory to grade 5. I learnt to play the clarinet for fun which was a great introduction to the rhythm of jazz. I have been trained in various dance forms including ballet to vocational level through RAD. Understanding the musicality of language helps with pronunciation and vocabulary, and understanding movement and dance helps one to pick up the nuances of body language and non-verbal communication.
I pursued a field in Law when I had finished my secondary education. Through this I learnt the formality of language, how words and sentences can have many different meanings to discern, and how important the role of language plays especially in events where tensions run high.
Teacher Ndyana has a wealth of experience teaching english to young and old around the world. Her conversational approach and delightful imagery makes learning the english language easy and fun for everyone

I have spent the majority of my life creating exciting and effective content and concepts of quality and enthusiastic satisfaction.
I have had the pleasure of working with many dynamic teams, both as a participant and as a lead for which I am incredibly grateful for as it has broadened my understanding and experience exponentially. I have recently completed a dynamic promotional video for Hoërskool Jan van Riebeeck's Japan Day in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan.
Additionally to post production which includes: editing, VFX, colour correcting/grading, motion graphics, illustration, sound and music composition, I have industry experience in copywriting, proofreading, grammar facilitation from foreign language and translating, transcriptions, subtitles, captions, and writing.
I have always been one to consider the bigger pictures and perfect the smaller details to fit it such. My mentality is to view things from the other side, the final product that audiences see, and adapt from there as I believe this is the most effective method of creating consistency in providing high quality and satisfaction and as such I also have a great passion for perfecting the connection between audio and visual. I prefer to choregraph the visual image that follows pacing with the musical beat of my own compositions to create a fully immersive experience for the viewer. The world is a plethora of new ideas and I have always pursued this with great determination and I believe if we can tap into the best resource the world has to offer, if we can connect to people, we can achieve so much more.
